No more warm beer

Wednesday, 23 May, 2007

An American brewing company, Coors, has released a beer bottle that changes colour when the beer is at the optimal drinking temperature.

Mountains on the label of the new Coors Light bottle are designed with thermochromatic ink, which turns from white to blue when the beer is at the correct temperature for consumption.

"The Cold Activated Bottle is designed to ensure that drinkers experience the coldest, most refreshing beer possible," said Andy England, chief marketing officer for Coors Brewing Company.
