AIP hosts webinar on packaging and food waste targets
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has invited its members and colleagues to attend an industry webinar that will discuss how to find the balance between the 2025 Packaging and 2030 Food Waste Targets.
The webinar will include a panel discussion and will be held in partnership with the Australasian Waste Recycling Expo 2020 on 25 November.
It is designed to help businesses become more sustainable by analysing one’s own environmental footprint.
The AIP said that everyone in the world has a role in meeting the 2025 Global and Local Packaging Targets and the Food Waste Targets.
“Neither is mutually exclusive, and when we talk about pivoting your business to become more sustainable inside and out, it is critical that you understand both goals and what they really mean to you,” the AIP said in a statement.
The panel of experts includes Nerida Kelton MAIP (AIP), Alan Adams MAIP (Sealed Air), Michael Dossor MAIP (Result Group), Warwick Armstrong MAIP (Plantic) and Ralph Moyle CPP FAIP (AIP).
