Nifty packaging for a cup of tea

Wednesday, 12 July, 2006

Quikstix is a new and convenient way to make cups of tea or coffee. All ingredients, including stirrer, are contained in the one clever device. Just tear off the end of the handle, tip in the contents (sugar) and add hot water, then stir the perforated end in the water to infuse the tea or coffee.

Quikstix is suitable for numerous markets including corporate supplied tea and coffee, convenience and fast food service, catering, camping, picnics, travelling and remote locations, airlines, hotels, motels and the domestic market. Quikstix can also be colour branded, offering opportunities in promotional, corporate and sponsor advertising.

Perfect Packaging was approached by Quikstix Australia for design advice on dosing and packing Quikstix and has consequently partnered this product. The line is designed to develop and expand as the market and demand for Quikstix grows, incorporating their own design dosing head, continuous heat sealer and conveyor.

Quikstix has been released in BT1 (black tea + 1 sugar) packed with pesticide-free, Australian grown Nerada tea. Coffee (BC1) is soon to be released in a real grind/instant blend, followed by white with one combinations (WT1 and WC1).
