Portable terminals for industrial weighing

Mettler Toledo has added the IND221 and IND226 large-display terminals to its existing line of products. These terminals feature a large LED display and easy-to-use keypads and are suitable for checkweighing, counting and classifying.

Users can perform over/under checkweighing by quickly setting a target weight; classifying with a full range of tolerances; or count by manually entering an average piece-weight or calculate on an average.

Suitable for analog bench and floor scales, the IND221 and IND226 can support up to four 350W load cell systems and display up to 30,000 divisions. Both models are NTEP-approved for 5000 divisions.

The IND221 and IND226 terminals provide functionality for users to track and improve process performance by analysing transactional data from a printer or PC using the bidirectional RS232 serial port. The terminals can also be connected to a standard AC power adapter for use in the battery mode with four C-cell batteries or an optional rechargeable battery for mobile solutions.

The IND221 and IND226 terminals meet the market need for a simple basic weighing terminal and include simple checkweighing or counting applications. The large LED display is easy to read, the serial port configurable for data collection, and the battery operation makes it suitable for industrial users.

The IND221 plastic enclosure is designed for general-purpose use in clean, dry areas. The stainless steel IND226 enclosure can withstand dust and low-pressure water jets (IP65) in wet and more rugged conditions.
