Intralox Activated Roller Belt technology

Friday, 07 January, 2011 | Supplied by: Intralox Australia Pty Ltd

Intralox claims its Activated Roller Belt (ARB) technology can assist users to optimise their conveyor layout and maximise plant productivity. The technology can reduce overall system costs, save floor space and reduce system controls and complexity.

The most recent addition to Intralox’s line of ARB solutions eliminates the need for external devices in the challenging palletiser infeed application. This solution features an electrically actuated switch that can handle more than 250 products/min in any orientation, while at the same time diverting to an infinite number of discharge points - all from a single input.

ARB equipment solutions include palletiser infeed/laner; complex switching; 90° transfers; accumulation lines; (90° angle) sorting; and continuous (perpetual) merge.
