Bidirectional valve [1]

Monday, 23 March, 2009

Egretier has introduced a bidirectional valve that allows all products to pass completely and without disturbance to the flow.

The stainless steel bidirectional device comprises a servo-valve treated with Durinox.

It is designed to allow passage of cleaning shells and cleaning in place, and meets all food industry hygiene requirements.

The valve is particularly suitable for powders and pastes and a compact activator alters direction with no break in the flow.

The valve is an addition to a range that already includes equipment for conveying thick or fragile products, including a low-speed volumetric pump combined with a helicoidal screw, a single-rotor mixer with dual concentric blades, a twin-rotor kneader with positioned paddles, a rotary cylindrical inclined mixer, screws and horizontal or elevating belts, with or without metal detectors, flakers for frozen products.
