Workplace Health & Safety Show returns to Sydney in September

The Workplace Health & Safety Show will return to Sydney from 7–8 September 2021, with an interactive learning experience that will feature more than 100 brands .

Being held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, the event will showcase the latest technology, processes and products from the global safety industry.

The organisers said the opportunity to hear from industry leaders in a more personalised and interactive environment has always been key to the Workplace Health & Safety Show’s success, and the 2021 event will be no different.

This year’s presentations cover topics such as innovation, technology, major hazards, wellbeing, mental health and injury prevention.

As the ripple effects from the COVID-19 pandemic moves through the community, there has been a significant toll on mental health. Legislation in Australia requires employers to ensure that their places of work are physically and mentally healthy for all employees.

COVID-19 has also ignited the need for Australia to grow its manufacturing capabilities, with the government announcing in October 2020 $1.5 billion in new funding to be invested over the next four years to help make Australian manufacturers more competitive, resilient and able to scale up to take on the world. With this in mind a new event, the Modern Manufacturing Expo, will be co-located at the Workplace Health & Safety Show, bringing together a showcase of the latest in product resources and technology for Australian manufacturers.
