IoPP hosts webinar about sustainability in packaging

The Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) is hosting a webinar on Sustainability in Packaging: Global Knowledge, Local Solutions. The webinar is free for AIP members and will answer questions about how to find the most sustainable packaging solution. The webinar will provide insight from presenters Stephen Marshman, Business Development Director at SKG, and Marcel Verhaaf, Brand Design Director at Anthem. Both presenters will explore how packaging professionals can address sustainable packaging challenges by applying a global perspective to local solutions.

Marshman has over 20 years’ experience in branding and graphics and currently works as a Business Development Director, focusing on helping large organisations implement best practice processes for the development of optimised packaging and branded content. Specialising in artwork and pre-press for packaging, Marshman has extensive experience in both the consumer packaged goods and life sciences sectors.

Verhaaf joined Anthem in 2017 after managing his own companies for 15 years. Verhaaf has 30 years’ experience in all aspects of brand design and packaging of local and international brands from Unilever, Nestlé, Heineken, Danone and Pepsico. Due to the different time zones, it would be challenging for AIP members to attend the live webinars, but they are encouraged to register to view the rebroadcast.
