Frucor Suntory appoints new CMO

Allison Yorston has been appointed the Chief Marketing Officer of Frucor Suntory, where she will be responsible for the company’s marketing direction and helping to grow its presence in the Oceania region.

Yorston previously worked as the company’s marketing director of energy and transformation where she reintroduced the V Energy ‘Bugs’ campaign. As part of her new role she has led the launch of the brand’s V Refresh product range.

Yorston has 20 years of FMCG experience, having worked at manufacturers such as Unilever Australia, Arnott’s, Fonterra and Sanitarium Health Food Company. In her time at Frucor Suntory she has been responsible for various portfolios including the BOSS Coffee brand.

“I’m proud to be taking the lead on our business’s marketing and creative programs and to play a part in building our portfolio of relevant brands and products that our consumers can enjoy. The launch of V Refresh is a wonderful example of our marketing and innovation teams working together to create a brand-new beverage that delivers enjoyment for our consumers,” Yorston said.

“Whilst Frucor Suntory is a multinational corporation, we have a strong local presence in Oceania and I believe that local footprint — along with our amazing team culture, great work and consumer centricity — truly gives us an edge in understanding what Aussie and Kiwi consumers really want.”

Yorston, who has already commenced the role, will be operating out of the company’s Auckland office.
