AIP to host virtual Opal tour
On 1 November, the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will host a virtual site tour of Opal facilities across Australia for members.
Opal creates fibre packaging solutions. A member of Nippon Paper Group, Opal has integrated operations across Australia and New Zealand.
The virtual site tour will provide an overview of Opal’s value chain, including its recycling operations, corrugated converting and digital printing capabilities.
The Opal team will show some of its key sites during the virtual tour.
During the tour, Jenni Booth, General Manager, Opal Specialty Packaging; Brad Hinds MAIP, Group General Manager, Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ; Julian Mathers, Group General Manager, Opal Converting and Packaging Plus ANZ; Daniel McHugh National Sales Manager, Opal Recycling; and Jacob Chretien, General Manager Technical and Strategic Projects, Opal Paper Division will all be available live to answer questions.
