2018 Lions' Den for foodservice entrepreneurs
If you’ve got a business idea and want professional feedback, then now’s the time to apply to the 2018 Lions’ Den. Following the success of its launch at Fine Food Australia last year, it will return to the Talking Food Stage in Melbourne on 12 September this year.
The Lions’ Den will offer start-ups and new businesses the opportunity to pitch their ideas, from technology to new products, to a number of experts in the foodservice industry. Entrants will receive advice on their product or concept and what it takes to succeed, as well as invaluable media coverage.
With a combined experience covering every aspect of the industry, the six Lions will be:
- Sissel Rosengren: Managing Director, Food Industry Foresight
- Scott Stuckmann: Business Executive Officer, Nestlé Professional
- Yezdi Duruwalla: Managing Director, Unilever Food Solutions
- Dr Mirjana Prica: Managing Director, Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL)
- Mark Field: Head of Coles Brand
- Jeff Dhu: Foodservice Director, Fonterra Australia
