foodpro 2021: now open for registrations
After a long four-year wait, foodpro 2021 is coming to the Sydney Showgrounds from 25–28 July 2021 and visitor registration is now open.
foodpro 2021 will bring together manufacturing and processing decision-makers and buyers for four days of collaboration, product launches, networking and new technology. It will also feature a free seminar series, with expert speakers covering trends like traceability, food safety and hygiene.
Other features of this year’s show include:
Traceability and provenance zone: Sponsored by Food Innovation Australia, this zone will be suitable for food and beverage manufacturers to discuss end-to-end solutions.
Government and business zone: A new zone for foodpro, featuring industry associations including AIFST, AIP and FIAL, where visitors can ask the experts questions and seek up-to-date advice and industry information.
Sensory maze: A place to immerse visitors in a delicious matrix of new tastes, flavours, colours and experiences, including a smell wall, sound room, touch games, textures and case studies.
Networking: The AIFST is hosting a cheese and wine evening at the Novatel Sydney Olympic Park, giving attendees a chance to reconnect with their peers and colleagues.
IT and digital factories zone: For businesses interested in boosting operation efficiency and improving product decisions via IoT, smart sensors, app developments and more.
Logistics and materials handling zone: A dedicated space for intralogistics, warehousing, materials handling and supply chain management.
Packaging materials and supplies zone: Includes the latest in machinery, eco-friendly labelling, bottling, weighing, canning and tamper-proof technology to lower manufacturing handling costs and improve shelf life.
The event will run in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, with the theme for this year’s conference being ‘Food Science — Delivering in a Challenging World’.
The return of foodpro and associated networking marks a major turning point for the industry returning to a ‘new normal’, and the foodpro team is set to deliver a fully government compliant COVID-safe event.
