Bookings open for AIP sustainable packaging course
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has announced bookings are open for its ‘Introduction to Circular & Sustainable Packaging Design’ virtual training course, which will be held on 6 May 2021. The AIP trainer will be Ralph Moyle FAIP, CPP, education coordinator at AIP.
The introductory course is designed for beginners who want to learn about how to choose sustainable packaging to suit their businesses. The AIP said anyone who is newly responsible for sustainability, the environment, SDGs and the 2025 National Packaging Targets should attend.
The online event aims to provide participants with an understanding of the current environmental issues that are impacting producers of packaging, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
It will also teach attendees sustainable packaging design and the practical design guidelines and approaches required in the packaging design process including end of life (EoL) thinking.
The webinar will end with best practice case studies of award-winning circular and sustainable packaging innovations.
